This Fall Kayak Event will take place on the Wappingers Creek on Sunday 6 October, from Pleasant Valley behind the Town Hall to Greenvale Park in Poughkeepsie. We will be meeting at Veterans Sportsmens Association office at 1335 Route 44 in Pleasant Valley at 1300 hrs. This kayak event will include a creek clean up in anticipation of the 2025 Wappingers Creek Derby. We are teaming up with the VSA for the anticipated 2025 Derby. This is a FREE event. Some Kayaks are available for Free use to VSA members, AESC members, Veterans and their families. Kayaks must be reserved in advance (life vests and paddles will also be provided). There is no end time designated. Stay as long as you like. As always, bring personal supplies for the day.
