Wappingers Creek Water Derby
Pleasant Valley, NY
This year Aquatic Explorers sponsored the running of the 40th annual Wappingers Creek Water Derby held in the Wappingers creek of Pleasant Valley, NY. The course is a Grade 2 White Water Course starting at the Pleasant Valley Recreation Center and running approximately 8 miles to
the Greenvale Park. This year, the race was held on Saturday, April 24th 2010 with the first race started at 8:00 AM and races continued throughout the day until 3:00 PM.
We had 222 racers across classes from serious paddlers to family classes.
